Safe and convenient after-school care
Our after-school and kindergarten care service began in 2022 due to parent demand and has gained a good reputation in the local area.
Many of our children come from the school next door and we provide a pick-up service there, where we collect the children from school and walk them back to the centre. We use an app to record pick-ups and attendance so parents know when their child has been collected from school and the school knows that the children have been picked up by their parents.
Our afternoon care programme is structured, yet flexible enough to allow children to enjoy themselves
Our afternoon care programme has a loose structure, but we understand that after school or kindergarten, children also want to relax so we do work to give them a balance.
The out-of-school sessions usually start with a 10-15 minute wind down time, then we provide afternoon tea such as fresh fruit or baking. All our food is prepared on-site and is Halal to respect our community's requirements.
Then we offer a variety of engaging activities designed to keep your child entertained and stimulated. From arts and crafts to carpentry trolleys, we offer something for every young child’s interest. For older children, we offer support with homework and then age-appropriate activities such as watching movies or using personal devices.
Keep the kids busy with our school holiday programme
We started offering our holiday programme for school kids in 2024 after receiving requests from parents, and we are the only centre in the area that offers such a programme.
Our holiday programmes run for 6-7 hours each day and parents can choose how many days - 3,4 or 5 - each week their children attend. Planned activities are shared in advance to help parents and children decide what they'd like to do and plan their attendance.

A wide range of activities to suit all interests
When school is out, our school holiday childcare programme steps in to provide exciting and educational activities. From field trips to MOTAT, the zoo, or local parks, to gardening in our veggie patch and learning about composting and recycling, your child will have a memorable holiday experience. Each activity is risk-assessed and covered by relevant health and safety forms.
We cater to children aged 5-14 and our team knows that having a wide range of ages can be challenging, especially when dealing with the older children who are developing independence and their own points of view. To counter this, we talk with the group early in the programme to discuss their thoughts, establish boundaries and encourage older children to role model behaviour to the younger participants.
